Shame!! Canadian priest arrested for sexual assault on teenager

 
A Canadian, Stephen Amesse, has been arraigned before a court after he has arrested for sexually assaulting a teen boy in 2008.

Police in a statement to the press revealed that investigators received a complaint in February 2014 that Stephen Amesse assaulted the boy who was 14 at that time inside a west Catholic Church. He was arrested and charged to court with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of sexual interference involving a child under 16.
At a Crown Court session on Thursday, December 4, Stephen Amesse made a brief appearance via a video link. The Crown agreed for Amesse to be released on a $5,000 bond with conditions that he not contact the victim or be in contact with any boys or girls under the age of 16. The case was adjourned till Monday, January 12, 2015.  
Amesse has been suspended from ministry and his position as a pastor at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fallowfieldd and will live at a retirement home for priests in Ottawa.
Amesse had a nine-year tenure at Holy Spirit Catholic Churchin Stittsville before his departure in 2009. He has also been involved with schools in the community, including Sacred Heart High School.
Ottawa police believe there could be other victims but none has come forward with any revelation.
