No one’s slick as Gaston, no one’s quick as Gaston, and no one… gets taken down by feisty little Disneyworld visitors like Gaston. Big ups to one girl for giving the preening egomaniacal douchebag from Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” the verbal takedown he so richly deserves: when she encountered the beefy antagonist — the one who uses antlers in all of hisdeeeeeecorating — at the Magic Kingdom, she took the opportunity to inform him that Belle wasn’t going to marry him.
Of course, Gaston responds to this by telling the girl that she doesn’t know what she’s talking about, at which point our young heroine doubles down and tells him that he’s going to be beaten by the Beast at the end of the story. Considering how deeply traumatized Gaston must have been by this public humiliation, it’s probably for the best that she didn’t go into detail about the part where not only does he get beaten, but he plunges off a parapet to what was almost certainly a very grisly, very splatty death at the bottom of a ravine.
